Hi! I’m Dave, a full-time actor & voice-over professional with a natural, conversational style.
How long have you been doing voiceover work?
How do your 1-on-1 sessions work? What equipment do I need?
What do your sessions focus on?
Can I ask you other voiceover-related questions about gear / recording spaces / career advice etc.?
What kinds of work do you specialize in?
What’s the cost?
$50 for a 30-minute Standard session. $25 for a 15-minute Audition Help session.
Any discounts or package deals available?
Yup! Four 30-minute sessions for $150!
How do I pay?
Are your sessions tax deductible?
What’s your payment/cancellation policy?
Typically, I require payment for our session the day before. However, if you get a last-minute audition you’d like to work on immediately, feel free to contact me, & if it works with my schedule, you can certainly pay at the time of the session. As far as cancellations/rescheduling goes, if it’s at least 24 hours before the session, you can get a full refund. If not, rescheduling is the best I can do. Everyone gets 1 cancellation within 24 hours of a session before I have to charge for the session, even if you cancel.
When are you available for sessions?
Do you offer sessions longer than 30 minutes?
I’m interested! What do I do now?
Voiceover Student Testimonials
Dave is great! I could definitely see and feel an improvement in my skills after just one session. Dave’s approach is friendly and his experience in the industry really comes through in his direction. Highly recommend to anyone just starting out or needing a little a refresher.
Dave was awesome to work with! Within a couple of minutes, he was able to help me identify and correct some of my bad habits. We worked on some great techniques to help perfect my reads and auditions. Dave was professional, knowledgeable, and very fun to work with! Looking forward to our next session.
Dave is everything we all say we want in a teacher, to the point where it’s almost too good to be true. He’s a no-nonsense coach who gives it to you straight without wasting your time, and is also a working professional who still works exclusively and consistently in Voice Over.
You’re not getting someone who turned to coaching because they can’t book anymore; his advice and feedback are shrewd, honest, and relevant to the current market of voice over. He’s also the single most budget-friendly coach on the market right now, in case you’re someone who balks at seeking coaching because professionals are generally expensive to work with.
You can’t go wrong with Dave.
Dave identifies areas that need correcting and sets you up in a way that allows you to discover the right way to read commercial copy. No lectures — No fluff. Dave simply gets you there. The techniques I learned from Dave after only a handful of sessions helped me book a regional commercial.
For someone like me, I really appreciate having theory and techniques explained to me as I’m working on new skills. Dave was not only great at that, but he’s also great at giving feedback on your reads and giving you the tools to self-direct as you begin to audition and do work. You get so much value from Dave, that I can’t help but suggest him to anyone looking to begin voice acting.
Dave takes voice direction extremely well, has excellent recordings, and fast turn-around times. What more can you ask for!
